Section 2 Β· Steps 1–3

Ministry of Labour & Immigration Approvals

1

Ministry of Labour β€” Job Offer

2 working days

You'll review and sign the official MOL job offer. Read it carefully β€” it sets out:

Personal information Salary & benefits Housing Summer leave Labour articles Your signature
2

Ministry of Labour β€” Approval

within 4 working days

The Ministry reviews and approves the signed offer. No action needed from you β€” your PRO submits and tracks this.

3

Ministry of Interior β€” Immigration (Entry) Visa

2 working days

The Ministry of Interior issues your immigration / entry visa approval β€” the permit that lets your residency process continue inside the UAE.

Section 3 Β· Step 4 Β· Action needed

Unemployment Insurance (ILOE)

A mandatory subscription you must complete before the next step.

Unemployment Insurance is a UAE government scheme that provides temporary financial support to employees who lose their jobs for reasons beyond their control. It pays 60% of your basic salary for up to three months.

Section 5 Β· Step 7 Β· Final step

Employment Visa Sticker

The last step β€” your residency is now complete.

The visa sticker is the final step of the process. A few important things to know about it:

πŸ“…

Your visa and Emirates ID are valid for 2 years and expire on the same day.

πŸ“•

The visa is not placed in your passport β€” it's digital.

πŸ“²

Install the ICP UAE app on your smartphone to access and download your visa sticker copy.

⏱️

This step typically takes about 1 working day.

βœ… You're all set

Once the sticker is issued, you're a fully documented UAE resident. Keep your Emirates ID and the ICP app handy β€” and note both renewal dates two years out.

Your PRO β€” Duties & How They Can Help
