Autumn Season

Volleyball is the headline Autumn sport at AISA, with teams at every competitive level. Middle School and JV teams compete in the ISAC and EAC leagues, while Varsity competes at GAAC for the regional championship. Played by FIVB rules with GAAC-specific net heights for each level.

Swimming runs as an Invitational at all three high school conferences in the Autumn season. The competitive program follows FINA swimming rules. AISA swimmers can enter up to 4 individual events and 2 relays per meet, with morning and afternoon sessions for distance and stroke events.

Cubs Soccer is the Autumn jamboree event for AISA's elementary student-athletes, run through the Junior Emirates Athletics Conference (JEAC). Played 7-a-side on a quarter-field with no offside rule and unlimited substitutions, weekly practices build fundamentals throughout September and October, with the focus on fun, skill development, and equal playing time for every athlete, culminating in the JEAC Final Matches against regional schools.

The GAAC Leadership Conference is a non-athletic Invitational event held during the Autumn season. AISA student leaders join peers from across the Gulf region for a multi-day program of workshops, speakers, collaborative activities, and cross-cultural exchange.
