Each year, AISA Lions student-athletes participate in the Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi experience — the NBA's youth basketball development program hosted in the UAE capital. The event coincides with the NBA Abu Dhabi Games at Etihad Arena and gives our players the chance to learn from NBA coaches, meet current and former players, and compete in skills clinics alongside the very best young basketball talent in the region.
This is a signature highlight of the AISA basketball calendar and connects our student-athletes directly to the global game.
AISA Athletics is proud to partner with PASS Football, one of the UAE's leading football academies, to deliver elite-level coaching and development pathways for our student-athletes. PASS Football brings UEFA-licensed coaches, structured curriculum, and competitive opportunities directly to AISA — supporting our soccer program from elementary entry-level through Varsity.
The partnership provides a year-round complement to our seasonal soccer competition, giving committed players a serious pathway to grow their game.
Our partnership with GameTimeSports brings expert multi-sport coaching, after-school programs, and tournament opportunities to AISA Lions student-athletes. GameTimeSports specializes in delivering structured, age-appropriate sports programming across basketball, volleyball, and other core AISA sports — giving our athletes additional touches, additional reps, and additional competition outside the school day.
Together with PASS Football, GameTimeSports forms the core of AISA's extended-season development network in the UAE.
The ADEK SportsCup is the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge's flagship inter-school sports competition, bringing together private schools from across the emirate in a wide range of sports. AISA Lions teams compete proudly in the SportsCup as part of our commitment to representing AISA on the largest possible Abu Dhabi stage.
The tournament is an opportunity for our student-athletes to test themselves against the broader Abu Dhabi private school community — well beyond the AISA-affiliated conference circuit — and to bring home recognition for our program.
The Abu Dhabi Sports Championship runs across two terms from November 2025 through May 2026, culminating in a Grand Finale for all sports. AISA Lions teams compete across multiple disciplines. Click any sport for its full official schedule on the ADEK SportsCup website.
