Championship season. February through May, AISA closes out the year with Badminton, Track & Field, and the marquee GAAC Academic Games.
Spring is "Season Three" across GAAC, ISAC, and EAC — the culminating season for AISA athletics. Badminton runs at all levels, Track & Field crowns regional champions, and the GAAC Academic Games bring together our top student-scholars for seven Olympiad competitions.

Badminton is one of the largest Spring programs at AISA, fielding teams at every level. Athletes compete in singles seeds (SB1-SB4 / SG1-SG4) and doubles (BD1, BD2, GD1, GD2). The Yonex Mavis 350 blue cap is the required shuttle. Tournaments are 2-3 day events with round-robin into seeded playoffs.
Run by World Athletics rules. The GAAC Track & Field meet is held annually in Jordan and is a two-day event with sprints, distance, hurdles, relays (4×100, 4×400), high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, and discus. Each athlete may enter up to five events. EAC Middle School T&F is run as a one-afternoon meet using Hy-Tek Team Manager.
The GAAC Academic Games are a Core (non-athletic) event for AISA. Schools compete with up to two teams of four students each across seven Olympiads: Quiz Bowl, Current Events, Geography, Spelling, Science/Engineering, Math, and Fine Arts & Music. Plaques are awarded to JV and Varsity champions.
JEAC Basketball is the Spring jamboree event for AISA's elementary athletes. Played 5-on-5 with FIBA rules and JEAC modifications: man-to-man defense only, 8-foot baskets where possible, no full-court press, and the scoreboard turns off once a team is up by 20 points. The focus is on equal playing time and skill development.
Based on the conference handbook recommended weekend windows. Final dates are confirmed at each conference's Spring meeting.
